What is an EHO evidence pack?
An evidence pack is a curated set of records for a branch and date range that supports due diligence during an Environmental Health visit or internal audit.
It is not a magic “pass” document. It is organised proof of what you did: checks completed and missed, temperatures, corrective actions, key documents and visit notes.
What usually goes in
Opening/closing and cleaning checks, fridge/freezer/hot-hold logs, corrective actions for failures, training and allergen records where relevant, and certificates still in date.
Digital systems help filter by branch and dates so you are not rebuilding WhatsApp and Drive the night before.
Frequently asked questions
Does an evidence pack guarantee a good rating?
No. Ratings and outcomes depend on the inspection and your practices. Good records support due diligence; they do not guarantee results.
